The first one is, IMO, ugly. The 2nd "mask" thing looks a lot better than the rest of them.

Well I didn't win
Kind of glad though - mine was kinda like one of the hats with the fluffy ear flaps your mom made you wear when you were 10 - everyone would have hated it.
Grats to the winners - they all look great!

pretty cool all of 'em (not counting we're in the 'chilly' season too )
I really like the snow orb and the red hat. The grand winner looks as something King Jalis might wear imo

Very nice. I hope they pull some tricks off on these if they're doing grand prize and #1... like a glow and icy reflection

I like the snow globe (5th) and the reindeer one (3rd) is freaky enough that I think it would be cool seen in game. C'mon now... who wouldn't want their entire head encased in a snow globe! Every time you run the snow flurries start flying around.

Here was my entry... If you were in losing town, you got static one. In winning town the animated. Tried to give incentive to actually doing the stupid events this year. First place one was nice...the rest...wow...just wow.... Must have been the same judge who picked Felix the Charr....

I wonder which winners end up as helms for this year.

Wouldn't be surprised if 4 or all of em get in. (dwayna-lion's, grenth-lion's, dwayna-kamadan, grenth-kamadan)
Maybe we'll see somethinng in some GW:EN town? or (i doubt it) kaineng?
Perhaps it's ascalon city again
EDIT: In fact if you notice them, the first 4 are really in the order of Dwayna, grenth, dwayna grenth. 5 is dwayna too, but 6 isnt' so 'grenthish' to me.

Only a maximum of 4 winners will be helms this year, but they'll probably use 1-2 of their own designs. I'm kind of disappointed that EotN won't have a third event town though.

The page says it all. There's only two hats this year, and it seems only the winner (the Ice Crown) will be the one in the game. Although it's worded pretty badly.

Everyone is invited to see the grand debut of the two new Wintersday helms—including the player-designed* Grenth helm

The only player design being used are for Grenth.
